• All parks are open; however, some amenities within the parks are closed. 
• Restrooms are open. 
• Playgrounds are closed until further notice.
• Splash pads are closed and will not reopen before Memorial Day weekend 2021.
• Drinking fountains are turned off; park visitors will need to bring their own water.
• Sports fields and joint-use school fields are open to sports leagues with a valid Reno Youth Sports Association (RYSA) field permit. Permits are restricted to non-contact practice only.
• Picnic facilities are first come, first served, maintaining strict physical distancing guidelines and limited to groups under 25 persons. No rentals.
• Residents are encouraged to wash and/or disinfect their hands as soon as possible after leaving public parks.

Sierra Kids

• The before and after school program is open at Washoe County School District sites.
• Due to COVID-19 restrictions, enrollment numbers were reduced and participants must register for the entire semester via weekly payment plan.
• Registration is full for some locations.
• Financial assistance is available.

Camps for Kids - Vacation Station (school break camps)

• Full day camp programs will be available at Evelyn Mount Northeast Community Center and Plumas Gym.
• Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the camp format has changed in order to limit the spread of Coronavirus/COVID-19 and mitigate risk for staff and participants.
• Fall Break Camp will be October 5-9, 2020. Full week registration is required.
• Winter Break Camp will be December 18-31, 2020. Registration for both weeks is required.

Pools

• Face coverings must be worn while entering and exiting the facility, as well as when not actively in the water. 
• Lap swimming is available with a maximum of 3 people per lane.
• Swimmers must reserve a lane no more than 48 hours in advance.
• Water Fitness class students must register in advance.
• Open swim is limited to the first 50 people per session (first come, first serve).
• All swimmers are recommended to come ready to swim and leave immediately after swimming to limit locker room use.

Neil Road Recreation Center is open.

• Reservations must be made for all programs, weight room use and cardio room use.
• All participants must leave upon completion of activities; no loitering in the lobby.
• Face coverings must be worn at all times, even while participating in programming, unless otherwise exempted by the State of Nevada.
